This Colombian rum is crafted from virgin sugar cane honey (rather than molasses), then distilled using a combination of pot stills and column stills .
CASK AND MATURATION DETAIL
The blend is composed of rums matured in American oak barrels, with the casks for this edition filled between 1999 and 2019.
Matured in the Caribbean Sea, where coastal conditions help shape its layered profile. The blend is drawn from the Parra family’s reserves and selected under the guidance of master blender Hernán Parra.

Dictador Black Edition is a limited art rum built from 2003 and 2005 vintage stocks. The matte-black bottle is hand-painted, marked with a glossy Dictador inscription and limited to 1,000 hand-numbered pieces; the spirit is bottled at 40% volume.
