Samaroli Linkwood 1983/2013 - 30 Years Single Malt Whisky - Cask No.5709

A premium single malt Scotch whisky aged for 30 years in a single cask. Distilled by the Linkwood distillery and bottled in 2013 by Coilltean from single cask no.5709, this is a limited release with numbered bottles.

The Linkwood Distillery was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown in the southern outskirts of Elgin. In 1970 a second distillery was built alongside the first and four new stills were added. Today, only the washbacks from the two original stills are being used and all the stills are heated by steam.

Tasting notes

Aroma

Intense bouquet of ripe fruit, oak and spices.

Taste

Elegant, rich and harmonious, with notes of honey, heather, and ripe pear. Very penetrating with a sophisticated character.

Finish

Persistent and generous.
