The whisky of this edition was distilled on 21 August 2000 and was able to benefit from a maturation of 15 years in barrels of Bourbon before a finish of 1 year and 9 months in Oloroso Sherry barrels. It was then bottled on 23 October 2017 with only 570 bottles available.

A rare whisky distilled in 1968 and a great example of Port Askaig's old Islay style, almost completely lost today. Unpeated, fruit-driven with abundant tropical fruits such as mangoes and papayas.

Despite this whisky's origins in Islay, the long ageing has allowed the smokiness of the spirit to fade and develop into something quite special.

Made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes trained as bush vines that are 30 years old, cultivated according to biodynamic and organic sustainable methods, free of chemicals, non-irrigated and without any wire support.

80% of this wine matures for 12 months in second and third-year barrels of 400 litres of French oak and 20% for nine months in 400-litre clay amphorae. This wine was bottled without stabilizing and with a minimum filtration; it may contain natural sediments in the bottle.

This natural wine was fermented in an amphora made with grey clay found in an archaeological site within the vineyard, where thousands of years ago Iberians lived, they also cultivated grapes and fermented wine in clay amphoras. No sulfites added. Limited production.
