Aarver Swiss Pine Gin

Aarver is a carefully composed dry gin with a clear influence of purest Swiss alpine ingredients. First, the nose detects the fragrance of juniper along with woody notes reminiscent of a mountain forest. The spirit remains smooth on the palate as the overall aroma becomes distinctly more resinous with hints of conifer, spruce and fir needles, perfectly balanced with notes of citrus. In the finish, Aarver retains its taste of juniper, which is paired with the underpinning note of fresh calamint.

The pine tree is widely considered to be the crown of the alpine forest. It’s known as very weather resistant and some trees grow as high as 25 meters with a stem diameter of up to 1,7 meters. The typical scent of its wood can be captivating and it’s proven that spending the night in a room made of pine wood will lower one’s heart rate and deepen the sleep. The pine tree will bloom for the first time only after 60 years and grow little nuts that are very tasty and nutritious.
