Born from the partnership of two men and two know-hows, Excellia™ tequila marries to perfection the agave and grape characters, the wine and spirits worlds. Excellia™ is a blend of authenticity and innovation built upon deeply rooted traditions.
Excellia™ is the fruit of the meeting of two visionary men:
Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, founder of Maison Villevert, groundbreaking brand creator and producer (G'Vine gin and esprit de June liqueur) and Carlos Camarena, precursor and award-winning tequila master-distiller (Tapatio and El Tesoro tequilas) and at the origin of the "Extra-Añejo" category.
Sharing the same common values, the two men respect the traditions, know-hows and the culture they’re coming from while implementing their innovative vision to the spirit industry.

About the Producer
Built upon deeply rooted traditions and the pursuit of excellence, a fusion where Mexican craftsmanship, directed by Carlos Camarena, award-winning tequila producer meets the French expertise of Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, master-blender and founder of EWG Spirits & Wine.
Produced from estate grown blue agave plants 8 to 10 years old, cut by hand and cooked slowly in traditional bricks and stone ovens. The cooked agaves are shredded and crushed to extract the aromatic agave juice and then fermented in wooden vats and twice distilled. A separate aging is made in vintage grand cru sauternes casks and in twenty-years-old cognac barrels to complete this very authentic tequila making process.
