Back in 2015, the Nikka distillery announced the discontinuation of the series of age statement whiskies, as stocks were too low to be produced, now only a few bottles available worldwide. A wonderful whisky, bold and peaty, made from 100% malted barley, aged in ex-Bourbon and Mizunara casks. 93 points in the Jim Murray Whisky Bible.
