Sotol Padre de las Serpientes is a traditional Mexican distillate made from Dasylirion, a succulent plant that grows wildly in the desert of Northern Mexico. Dasylirion thrives in harsh desert conditions. Its roots delve deep into the dry soil, absorbing every raindrop bestowed by nature. This plant grows for 18 to 22 years before it can be distilled. Sotol Padre de las Serpientes Batch No.2 was distilled in Chihuahua in 2023. This is a limited edition of 5100 numbered bottles. Sotol is an excellent alternative to tequila or mezcal in traditional cocktails such as Margarita, Tommy's, or Paloma.
Tasting notes
Smooth and persistent on the palate with earthy, mineral and fruity notes of cooked apple and burnt sugar.
