Machetazo is 100% handcrafted according to methods passed down through generations.
Made from a variety of wild agave locally known as Maguey Papalote or Cupreata Agave, found on the high mountain slopes of the Rio Balsas basin in the southern Mexican state of Guerrero.
The agaves are grown until they have reached maturity between 7 - 15 years to ensure the ideal concentration of natural sugars and minerals. Cooked in earthen ovens, fermented in wooden barrels and distilled twice in a copper still.
Inspired by the gastronomy, art, heritage and leadership of the women from the Guerrero state.
Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero is made from a rare variety of agave that grows wild in the mountain ranges of Guerrero's state. The flavour of the Agave Papalote is greatly influenced by the coastal climate and green forests that surround the region.
The decanter is an artisanal piece that pays tribute to the ancestral wisdom, tender nature, and warrior spirit of the Mexican woman.
The green colour represents jade, a precious stone of extreme value to ancestral cultures as well as a symbol of eternity.
The four-petaled flowers covering the decanter represent the Fifth Sun -a pre-Hispanic god known as the origin of everything. The colourful cap features the figure of a hummingbird, the fabled messenger of the Gods, reaffirming its mystical and celestial connection to the region.
Made from Agave Salmiana, locally known as Maguey Verde or Green Giant. A variety of agave grown in calcareous soils in the Central Mexican plateau in San Luis Potosí, where the semi-arid climate yields crisp, citrus flavours.
Machetazo San Luis Potosi is 100% handcrafted using a special method of cooking the piñas through vaporization in Earthen and stone ovens above ground, which eliminates the typical smokiness of mezcal.
Fermented in masonry-stone tubs, distilled once in a copper bell still.
Made from Agave Espadin, a variety frequently used for its sugars, weight and volume. The flavour of the agave varies according to the region where it grows. In this case, the Oaxacan sub-tropical climate provides concentrated, floral flavours.
The agaves are grown until they reach their maturity between 8-12 years, cooked in earthen ovens, fermented in wooden barrels and distilled twice in a copper still.

Made from a variety of wild agave found in the state of Durango in Northern Mexico, where mineral-rich soils and natural spring water give a distinctive smoky character to the final spirit. The distillation process follows artisanal methods to preserve the original flavours of the ancient tradition.
Clase Azul Durango is presented in a black clay decanter, carved by hand by artisans from a small community of the Mazahua people. Artisans from the Wixárika culture are the creators of the colorful cap.
A crisp and vibrant Mezcal made from Tepeztate Agave, a variety that can take as many as 25 years to mature in the wild. Due to the scarcity of mature agaves, only small batches can be produced at the time. The Mezcal obtained from this agave has a very distinct, powerful, unique aroma dominated by floral notes.
