Kelt Armagnac Millésime 1987 was crafted from 100% Uni Blanc grapes cultivated in the renowned Bas-Armagnac region. Each batch was meticulously distilled in a century-old copper still and Un-Chillfiltered to retain its organoleptic properties.
While traditionally, larger barrels have been used in Armagnac production, Kelt is aged to perfection in new Limousine oak barrels of 350 litres.
To accelerate the maturation process and refine its character, these Millésimes are aerated twice yearly, allowing oxygen to interact with the spirits within the barrel.
The result is a harmonious fusion of flavours and an exceptionally smooth Armagnac that can be sipped at its natural alcohol strength.
This blend contains Armanacs from 1987 to 2004, futher matured on a Tour du Monde for three months. During this time, the alcohol evaporates due to climate and temperature fluctuations, enhancing the spirit's flavour and encouraging more interaction with the wood, creating a one-of-a-kind product with each batch.
Kelt Armagnac X.O is made from 100% Uni Blanc grapes, unchill-filtered and aged in new Limousine oak barrels.
