A Swiss Single Cask whisky made from 100% Malted Rye. 100% Swiss, from the rye malt to the barrel, all ingredients come from domestic production. The rye mash is distilled in one step using a cooper's Hefelibrand Still, this allows to retain the characteristic properties of the raw spirit.
The cask plays a decisive role in the flavour development of the spirit, the interaction of distillate and wood shapes the taste over the years. Goldwaescher is exclusively aged in new, burnt-out Swiss Sessile oak casks, the wood brings out spicy accents that blend graciously with the sweetness and sharpness of the raw rye spirit.
Swiss Mountain is a single malt, single cask Whisky from the Bernese Oberland region. Distilled in 2010 a pot still, matured for 11 years in cask #74, which previously held Oloroso Sherry wines. Bottled in February 2022.
These casks were stored in the Ice Palace in the Jungfraujoch (3’454 m) at a constant temperature of -4 °C.
Swiss Mountain is a Single Malt Whisky from the Bernese Oberland region. Distilled in a discontinuous pot stil and matured in oak cask that previously held Oloroso Sherry wines.
