Wildkirsche is the specialty of the Brunnen distillery, only the best wild cherry vintage years are used for its production. In 1867 Franz-Xaver Dettling, founder of the house Dettling in Brunnen noticed that the black cherries found in central Switzerland produce a highly aromatic brandy. The careful selection of ripe cherries and their skilled distillation method makes Dettling Kirsch one of the leading brands in Switzerland.
