The Yamazaki Distillery was awarded whisky visitor attraction of the year by Icons of Whisky in 2015. The Museum showcases some 7,000 samples of malt whisky.

Founded in 1923 by Suntory’s founder Shinjiro Torii. It is the first and oldest distillery in Japan, located in Kyoto, a region with one of the purest water sources in the country. Here the temperature and humidity create ideal conditions for cask aging.
