Distilled in 1993 on the Enmore Wooden Continuous Coffey still, aged for 22 years in ex-bourbon barrels, bottled in Guyana in 2015 at cask strength, non-blended and non-chill filtered. This is the first edition of a limited series of rum from the three historical wooden pot stills: The Enmore Wooden Continuous Coffey Still, Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and Versailles Wooden Single Pot Still.
The Demerara Distillery dates back to the 17th century and it is considered one of the oldest distilleries in the world; throughout the years the original stills were kept and are presently used, each creating a different style of spirit.
