Founded in 1869 by the Ripy Brothers on Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.Located in Bourbon County, on the edge of the Kentucky River, where crystal clear and stone-filtered water and corn were available, the first and most important ingredients for their bourbon whisky. The yeast used during the fermentation process still is the original strand proprietary to Wild Turkey, which has given their bourbon’s signature flavour for over 60 years.
