A rare 40-year-old whisky patiently matured in Turney Casks at Bunnahabhain's warehouses by the sea. These casks were discovered by the blending team while reviewing the warehouse ledgers. Bunnahabhain 40 is part of the Core range series of unpeated whiskies, mainly matured in ex-sherry casks. These single malts are all natural in colour and non-chill filtered. Hints of tropical fruits, banana, berries, creamy toffee, vanilla, rich nuttiness and delicate sweet oak.
Sweet malt, creamy caramel, vanilla, creamy berries, with hints of toasted nuts, tropical fruit, banana and pineapple.
