Juicy, lavish and creamy. A very elegant Speyside single malt, single cask whisky. Bottled in September 2018 by independent bottler Samaroli. Only 230 bottles were released.
Tasting notes
Old gold
A series of scents and spices, like worn sawdust, are followed by creamy aromas of yeast and freshly baked crusty bread.
More complex tones demand our attention, almost paralyzing our mouth. Sweet tones of cream meringue and underripe fruit. Let’s give this whisky time to interact with the air, then we can return to find the same scents and aromas in a more austere, more developed, more satisfying form.
Full-bodied barley and honeyed cereals remain in a beautifully full and long finish.
