This single malt whisky was distilled in 2001 at the oldest surviving distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. Bowmore is renowned for producing distinctive smoky single malts made according to time-honoured skills acquired over two centuries. Matured for 15 years and finished in Port Casks, bottled in 2016 by independent bottler Samaroli at 46% strength. Limited edition of 186 bottles.
Tasting notes
Musky and earthy followed by soft notes of vanilla, juniper and myrtle berries. Buttery, peaty and salty.
