The Glenrothes distillery is celebrated for its smooth, oily, fruit-forward whiskies, and this bottle is an excellent example of their signature style. This Speyside single malt was distilled in 2013 and matured in a Refill Bourbon Hogshead for ten years. The 2023 edition was filled from a single cask #5260, non-chill filtered to preserve its natural character. As part of Samaroli’s Extraordinary series, this release highlights distinctive blend and single-cask expressions from lesser-known distilleries. The whiskies in this series are typically aged under fifteen years and are chosen for their vibrant flavour profiles.
