Near Aberlour in Speyside, GlenAllachie was designed in 1967 by William Delmé-Evans for Mackinlay McPherson. Its largely gravity-fed layout was intended to reduce energy use, and production began the following year. Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson acquired the distillery in 2017. The first core range of GlenAllachie single malts followed in 2018, marking a change from its earlier role supplying whisky for blends.
