Bimber Distillery launches "Apogee XII" - a 12-year-old Premium Pure Malt Whisky that celebrates the fine art of blending, offering impeccable balance with added layers of flavour and complexity resulting from the vibrant, fruity, and spicy character of the ex-Bimber casks. Apogee is made from the finest single malt whiskies from the Highlands and Speyside. These whiskies have matured for a minimum of 12 years before being further enhanced by a skilful maturation in ex-bourbon casks previously used for Bimber's award-winning whiskies. Bottled at 46.3% alcohol without colouring or cold filtration. The eye-catching, custom-made glass bottle features a tactile, hammered glass that mimics the surfaces of Bimber's small copper stills.
Tasting notes
Spiced pears, oven-baked apricot tarts, sweet candy strings and the scent of rose water, nutmeg, and powdered ginger.
Syrupy fruit and stone fruit provide a bright and fresh mouthfeel supported by lightly charred oak, soft white pepper, and cooling mint.

The Bimber Distillery was founded by whisky enthusiasts with a mission to produce high-quality single malt whisky with character, using traditional methods rarely seen today.The journey begins at their single farm, where 100% of their barley is grown. It is then traditionally floor malted, hand mashed and fermented slowly for seven days in wooden washbacks, handmade at their own cooperage. Using direct fire to heat the small copper pot stills and maturing the whisky in hand-selected casks. Finally, the whisky is bottled on-site at the distillery.
