A special release for the Swiss market and a limited edition of only 66 numbered bottles. G. Rozelieures is a French single malt, single cask peated whisky aged in an Ex-bourbon cask and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks. Peated at 45 PPM, bottled at a cask strength of 57.7%. The cask for this bottling was chosen by Gerik Spiquel at the distillery for FiGee Fine Goods.
The Grallet-Dupic Distillery dates back to 1877 when Amable and Ophélie Grallet established a cereal farm. Today, the distillery is still run by the same family. For its peaty malts, the distillery uses locally grown barley. Their whiskies are double distilled in Charentais pot stills and matured in casks from all over the world. Their creations are inspired by the natural beauty of the Lorraine region's nature, where conditions for the production of whisky are ideal. From harvest to bottling, the whole process is made in-house under the family's care and supervision.
