Swiss Mountain is a single malt, single cask Whisky from the Bernese Oberland region. Distilled in 2010 a pot still, matured for 11 years in cask #74, which previously held Oloroso Sherry wines. Bottled in February 2022. These casks were stored in the Ice Palace in the Jungfraujoch (3’454 m) at a constant temperature of -4 °C. This is a limited edition of only 966 bottles.
Tasting notes
Medium to full with a fruity finish and a soothing structure
The slightly salty minerality is rounded off by sweetly grapey sherry notes.
