Tasting notes
Crisp, refreshing with scent of tropical fruits, hints of coconut, vanilla and smoky oak.
Well balanced despite its high alcohol content. Complex with a silky texture. Notes of vanilla, oak and spices.
Medium long and dry, with a zesty and oaky tone.
The distillery was founded in 2005 by the King Car Group and named after the indigenous natives who originally inhabited the area located in the northeast of Taiwan. The sub-tropical island climate and the blending skills of world-class master blender Ian Chang and specialist Dr Jim Swan make Kavalan whisky unique in its class.
