A very rare and collectable bourbon that honours the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, a National Historic Landmark known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. The O.F.C 1994 is presented in a wooden box that contains a provenance card, the hand-cut crystal bottle features the vintage year in copper inlaid lettering on a hand-applied paper label.
Tasting notes
Caramelized sherry and smoked oak notes.
Dark chocolate, tobacco leaves and dates followed by spicy hints of cinnamon.
Long finish with notes of leather and black pepper.
Buffalo Trace Distillery is a family-owned company based in Frankfort, Kentucky with a rich tradition that dates back to 1773. At the time, it was the most state-of-the-art distillery. Their copper fermentation vats, column stills, and heating system are still used today in their ageing warehouses.The distillery has been awarded 21 titles since 2000 from notable publications such as Whisky Magazine, Whisky Advocate Magazine and Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
