Composed of a blend of pure malt whiskies from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. The long aging gives it a unique flavor profile, intense mature aromas, well-balanced taste followed by a powerful long-lasting finish. Nikka Taketsuru 21 was awarded 88 points in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible in 2017. This malt is named after Masataka Taketsuru, who is also known as the father of Japanese whisky and founder of the Yoichi & Miyagikyo distilleries.
