A particularly round dram with a pleasant sweetness and Ardbeg's classic peat flavour. "An Oa" has been aged in Ardbeg's bespoke Gathering Vat where whiskies from several cask types including sweet Pedro Ximenez, spicy virgin charred oak and intense ex-bourbon casks, amongst others are married to create a unique whisky with a silky texture and powerful character. Ardbeg An OA is part of the Ultimate range, this release is presented in a metallic gift pack. Non-chill-filtered with a strength of 46.6% Ardbeg An Oa Single Malt Whisky is kosher Certified.

Light Gold
Rounded with aromas of smoky burning Applewood. Add a few drops of water to unveil fruity and waxy notes; peach and banana pie, pine resin, saddle soap and tar. Ardbeg An Oa gives a final subtle reminder of the sea with briny notes and seaweed.
The smooth, creamy texture leads into a bold sweetness of treacle toffee, aniseed, orange and smoky tea leaves. With water sweet spices like nutmeg & cinnamon emerge followed by a unique taste of grilled artichoke. Woody notes are always present in the spirit, gently nutty and reminiscent of a carpenter’s workshop.
