To create Finglassie small batch #3, independent bottler Rest & Be Thankful selected ex-Islay bourbon casks and Jamaican rum barrels to enhance the whisky's profile. This limited-edition whisky is produced from malted barley sourced from Yorkshire, UK. Distilled in January 2017, it matured six years in ex-Islay bourbon casks and underwent a finishing period in Jamaican rum barrels. The whisky remains unchill-filtered and devoid of artificial colour. Only ten casks were filled, resulting in a total of 3,720 bottles. Finglassie 2017 Batch #3 was bottled in July 2023 at 46% volume, making it a unique and highly sought-after whisky.
