Independent bottler WITL presents a single malt, single cask whisky from the Auchroisk Distillery. Distilled in June 2011 and bottled in March 2023. Matured for eleven years in 1st Fill Saint Estèphe wine barrique, single cask # 22074021. Non-chill filtered, free of colouring and bottled at a cask strength of 57.1% Vol. This is a limited edition of 470 bottles.
Tasting notes
Sweet malt and nuts like hazelnuts, as well as notes of red fruits and oak from the red wine barrel.
Malt, sweet cassis, vanilla, pear and rich caramel.
The finish is fruity and delicately woody
