Delicious toffee and hazelnut, combined with just a hint of sweet peat smoke
A mellow, gentle and incredibly complex finish.
Founded in 1779 by John P. Simpson. It is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and first in Islay, located on the southeastern shore of Loch Indaal. The distillery still has its original traditional malting floor and it is known for a variety of styles with a particular touch of peat and smoke. Today the distillery is owned by Suntory and continues producing whiskies of excellent quality.
