A unique single malt, single cask whisky from the renowned Braeval distillery located in the remote Scottish Highlands at 507 meters above sea level. The distillery was founded in the seventies and since 1997 one person has operated it. Aged in Bourbon Barrels, non-chill filtered, no colouring added. Tasting notes
Golden
A variety of gourmet fruits with lots of citruses, apple peel and mandarin zest, English wine gums and hard lemon candy followed by subtle notes of avocado. When mixed with water, notes of candy with hints of coconut and bay leaf.
Pepper, citrus candy, ginger, and tamarind notes slowly evolve into a light-bodied texture. A few drops of water expose notes of banana, vanilla, and spicy cloves.
Long and warming finish with notes of mango, spices, and white chocolate.
Chapter 7 was founded in 2014 by Selim Evin and was named after Shakespeare's poem "The Seven Ages of Man", which Adam would consider to be his inspiration. An additional impulse also came from the family ties to whisky, and a new bottler was born. Initially inspired by the world of Scotch, the brand specialised in Grain and Irish Whisky before moving on to blending its own malts.
