Originally created exclusively for the travel retail and duty free market. Thorfinn is part of the Warrior Series of luxurious single malt whiskies, aged in the finest sherry seasoned casks and European oak sherry casks, which offer the richest, most luscious flavours. Thorfinn has a more earthy, leathery and complex flavour profile. Bold and rich, with hints of peat, spices and honey.
Founded in 1798, making it the sixth oldest distillery in Scotland. Located on the Orkney Islands off the northern tip of Scotland. Although the remote Orkney Islands are at the same latitude as Stockholm, the climate is not so harsh. The thermometer rarely drops below zero and reaches 20°C in summer, an ideal climate for the production of whisky.
