This right here is a rather lovely bottling of Glen Keith single malt, distilled in 1997 and bottled in July 2017, with an outturn of 390 bottles. Sporting that classic, stylish Samaroli label, you won't run out of things to love about this release.
Tasting notes
Amber
Dusted apple pastries and strawberries compete dutifully with black pepper and nutmeg, with plenty of fresh barley.
Caramelised nectarines and toffee apple give a thick sweetness, complemented by buttered granary toast, lightly charred oak and oily walnuts.
The finish is slightly mineral, there's almonds creamy vanilla and gentle spices too.
