This is the first bottling made from a resurrected variety of barley, named after pioneering plant breeder Dr Herbert Hunter. From 50 grams of seeds, upscaled over several years to 50 barrels distilled on the first harvest. Heritage Hunter is part of the Arcadian range which explores the flavours and intensity of the old ways. This whisky was matured in a combination of 45% first-fill US oak; 19% virgin US oak; 21% Premium French oak; and 15% Vin Doux Naturel.
