In 1833, King William IV granted a Royal Warrant to the distillery making it the first Royal Scotch Whisky and acquiring the rights to call itself Royal Brackla. The distillery is known for making rich and fruity whiskies finished in the finest first-fill sherry casks, sourced directly from Spain. This is a limited edition single malt, single cask whisky bottled at cask strength. Only 774 have been produced.
Tasting notes
Nose and palate play a game of opposites and chase each other.
Fresh and mature, savoury and sweet. Notes of confectioner’s custard, oat, prairie herbs, leather and tar, all in a symphony.
Samaroli is probably Italy's most renowned independent bottler, considered a visionary by most. Impeccable taste and an eye for aesthetics have given numerous of his bottlings a worthy place in the pantheon of whisky and rum giants.Today the production is under Antonio Bleve's direction, who has collaborated with Samaroli for many years and shares the passion and philosophy of the house.Antonio Bleve continues his quest for exceptional casks, relying on the brand's historical relationships and new interactions, making their latest bottlings increasingly in demand.
