Tasting notes
Dark mahogany
Dark spice cake, cigar box, oak, juicy raisons, matured tobacco, blackforest cake, old old rum of molasses a little olive, after approx. 20 mins aromas of old sherry/port emerge
Rich, dark oak, very old tawny port, dried figs and prunes, dried mango, coffee, hint of olive, nuttiness, it's very smooth and fresh even compared to much younger rums. Super well balanced.
It's perfectly balanaced and the finish is exrtremely long, similar to a very old tawny port, almost a little saltiness with a long oakey finish that leaves warmth on the pallet and gums. Not overpowering. Just perfect.
