Havana Club Tributo 2019 is the fourth edition in the prestigious Iconica Collection, crafted by three generations of Maestros del Ron Cubano: Don José Navarro, Asbel Morales, and Salomé Alemán. Each Maestro selected a rare molasses rum from the 1970s, 1990s, and 2010s, one of which was aged in a Cognac cask, then blended with a 25-year-old rum aged in French oak barrels. This limited edition consists of 2,500 bottles and was launched at the Habanos Festival in February 2019. It is presented in an off-white wooden box edged with vibrant orange hues—echoing the amber glow of the rum within—and personalised with the Master’s signatures.
Tasting notes
The rum offers pungent aromas of dried and tropical fruits, along with caramel, vanilla, and cloves.
Medium-bodied, with notes of dried fruit, subtle notes of oak spice and toasted almonds.
