The creation of this Pure single Agricole Rum demanded a long fermentation process and a discontinuous water bath distillation in small copper alembics. Matured in wine barrels that once held precious French wines, bottled at 45 % Vol. The Liberation 2017 was distilled in 2010 by Gianni Vittorio Capovilla at the Bielle distillery, bottled in small batches by independent bottler Luca Gargano. “Liberation” designates the bottling year rather than its distillation year.
Tasting notes
At first, intense balsamic notes followed by a strong bouquet of sweet dried fruit, dark chocolate and spices. The palate is mild with soft notes of oak and a well-balanced sweetness.
