This rum brings together a selection of Demerara’s molasses rums. The 2017 edition was bottled in Scotland by Samaroli and is the second release from the Vertical 03 - 04 blend. Demerara rums are rooted in Guyana’s long-established rum-making heritage, where producers focus on structured, full-bodied molasses distillates built for complexity over time.
Tasting notes
A distinctive, whisky-like aroma. Expect floral and wet-cereal notes on the nose, followed by wax, lacquer, and spice.
The palate is reminiscent of a Jamaican rum, with notes of paprika, ginger, and exotic high esters.
