Tasting notes
A delicious variety of exotic fruits, mango, pineapple, blood orange and ripe red berries, balanced by aromas of fresh herbs, aromatic oils and wood spices.
The luxurious soft texture immediately blends with ripe plums and black cherries notes. Then a hint of chilli oil gives way to vanilla, cinnamon, sweet spices, toasted nut and mentholated notes only to finally reveal its fine complexity.
A satisfyingly long balance of ripe fruit and wood spices, worthy of a journey of nearly three decades.
Redbreast remains the pioneer of the Irish single pot still. Based on malted and unmalted barley, their whiskies reveal an intriguing complexity. Distillation takes place in three different stills then the whiskey is aged in old sherry and bourbon casks. Today, Redbreast is made at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork (alongside other great Powers, Green Spot and Jameson whiskies). Redbreast represents the very finest in Irish whiskey.
