The only Constellation whisky finished in Port pipes. The time spent in the finest Tawny Port pipes has gifted this whisky with a rich palate of cassis, black forest fruits and rich plums. It is a truly memorable whisky. Under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Richard Paterson, this spirit was initially matured in American white oak first-fill Kentucky Bourbon barrels for a flawless base of vanilla, ginger spice and mangos. After maturing 10 years in the cask, the spirit was transferred to the finest Tawny Port pipes from Porto, Portugal where it rested for nine years more. During this time the spirit was nurtured by the cask, yielding notes of chunky marmalade, bitter chocolate and rich plums
