Glenfarclas is one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland that still use traditional manufacturing methods. Their whiskies are known for their depth and richness.Using direct fire at the time of distillation and ageing their whiskies in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks lends their spirits a distinctive burnt caramel taste along with rich sherry notes. The distillery has been in the Grant family since 1865 and is now in the hands of the fifth and sixth generations. The family is bound to the original vision of creating an extraordinary Scotch Whisky keeping the traditional Speyside style.
