The Glenfiddich distillery celebrates its 125th anniversary with a special whisky crafted by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. The whisky pays tribute to years of pioneering spirit and boasts a slightly peaty character, making it an unusual addition to Glenfiddich's assortment. Despite its smoky and heavier notes, the typical Glenfiddich fruit flavours and vanilla oak wood still shine through. This edition comes in a copper coloured case which contains a stopper and a leaflet with information about the bottling.
Tasting notes
Complex and simply wonderful. Fresh fruit and jam tones are wrapped wonderfully in peaty smoke. Intense oak and barley flavors, complemented by woody spices. The finish is long and satisfying.
Glenfiddich - Gaelic for Valley of the Deer - was born in the summer of 1886 when William Grant together with his seven sons and two daughters began to fulfil his lifelong dream, to produce the best whisky in the valley. Today the distillery is still run by the family and has preserved the innovative character of its founder inspired by passion and determination through five generations.
