This rum is made with an old variety of sugar cane, called Cain, grown on the mamo field, which stands on a terroir known as Boulders, located on the island's south-east flank
The terroir, characterised by its bright, iron-red clay, pyroclastic boulders and high water table, provides ideal conditions to keep the cane hydrated during the dry season.
Each Renegade bottling comes from a single farm. Their rums are unaged, made with fresh, pure sugar cane juice as a primary ingredient. Natural in colour and texture, unsweetened and non-chill-filtered.
